Facebook is launching COVID-19 Information Center
Facebook has announced the launch of Coronavirus Information Center (COVID-19), located at the top of the News Feed, to provide a central place for people to get the latest news and information as well as resources and advice to stay healthy and support their families and community.
It includes real-time updates from national health authorities and global organizations such as the World Health Organization, as well as helpful articles, videos and posts about social exclusion and non-proliferation of COVID-19.
People can also follow the Coronavirus information center to receive updates from health authorities directly in their news feed. Starting in the United States, people will see features to help them connect with local groups and to request or offer help within their community.
"We will launch the information center in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States within the next 24 hours, and we will expand it to include more countries in the coming days," Facebook said on its website.
